A large grocery stor is only 5-10 minutes away. La Coccinella is out in the country but only 20 minutes or so to Assisi and Perugia. It is 2 stories with the upper story reserved for Giulios family when they need to get away. Right next door is another newly renovated structure. We had a great view from our terrace and the pool was just steps away. Nothing better than fresh vegetables with your meals. There is a large garden with a variety of vegetables and Giulio told us to help ourselves which we did. We weren't successful but we had a lot of fun watching Giulio try and coax Buffy into sniffing out some truffles. Casale la Coccinella, Aprilia, Lazio, Italy. As I said, Giulio was a great host, even taking us out one night for a truffle hunt with his dog Buffy. We asked Giulio if there was a toaster and he immediately went out and got one (brand new I think). The bathroom was spotless and functional and the kitchen/ living room was roomy and furnished with everything necessary. One room with matrimonial bed and the other with 2 single beds. It is a detached, one level cottage with 2 bedrooms. We stayed in La Stalla, which had just been recently renovated. The accomodations themselves were exceptional. Giulio and his family were wonderful hosts, always attentive to our needs. WiFi and parking are free, and this farm stay also features an outdoor pool. Near The Hospital of Gubbio and Gualdo Tadino. The agriturimo places are fantastic compared to bed and breakfasts as the locations of most of these places is in the middle of farms and vineyards. I would certainly return back and stay for longer as the Marche region is beautiful with stunning countryside and lovely people. We wanted to go for a nice dinner nearby and Virgilio took us some 10 minutes away to his local pizzeria and the food was like homemade italian with excellent service! The rooms are beautifully furnished with some nice touches and and fantastic power shower with BIG shower cubicle (if you visit other hotels,b&b's etc you will know what I mean!) and very very clean! The friendliness and warmth we felt made us feel really at home. After a long day of driving we manged to find this place in a small village.The location of the place is amazing with some fantastic views all around. The owners Emanuella and Virgilio were wonderful hosts. We stayed at this Agriturismo place for 2 nights.
